Christopher Arns

Head Pro Chris Arns has been with NVCC since July 2005. Chris supervises all programs at NVCC. Chris brings 15 years’ experience from Menlo Circus Club, Ladera Oaks, and Diablo Country Club. Chris was chosen to Coach the USTA Norcal Zonal Team for juniors 14 and Under in 2012, leading them to a 2nd place finish in the National Competition.

Chris is also the Tournament Director for the Napa Valley Challenger; a Men’s USTA Pro Circuit and ATP Event offering $50,000 in total prize money held at NVCC.

He currently serves on the Northern California USTA Coaches Commission. The mission is to facilitate the network of coaches as well as programs to train a continuous wave of juniors in alignment with the USTA Teaching and Training Philosophy.

Chris is a Wilson Advisory Staff Member, and an Etcheberry Certified Instructor, in addition to being a USPTA Certified Professional and PTR Professional.

1987-1996 Ranked NCTA Junior- #9 Singles and #1 Doubles
  Zonal Team – 1991 (12 & Under), 1993(14 & Under)
  National Ranking- as high as #23 in 1993
1996-1997 University of Portland- played #5 Singles 1996
2003 World ITF #370 Men’s Professional Ranking
2010 Men’s USTA NorCal NTRP 5.0 ranked #5


Chris is married to his beautiful wife, Allison and they have 4 children. They have called the Napa Valley home since 2006.

Christopher Kubicka

Assistant Tennis Professional, Jr. Tennis Coordinator

Grew up in Fairfield and was a ranked junior as well as played for Armijo High School. 3X MEL Doubles Champion, MEL Singles Champion, All League 2000-2004.

Diablo Valley College

2X Big 7 Conference Champions and qualified for State in doubles both years.

In 2006 placed 2nd in Modesto Tournament Doubles Flight 1. All Conference First Team, Big 7 Doubles Champion & Northern California Regional Doubles Champion, as well as went undefeated in Conference play.

Sonoma State University

Chris graduated from Sonoma State in 2009 with Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. While on the tennis team he played as high as #4 for the Seawolves and helped them achieve a #39 NCAA D-2 ranking. Also went All-Academic his senior year as well as ITA National Sportsmanship Award & Seawolves Spirit Award recipient.

Chris is USPTA P2 certified, a Dunlop Advisory Staff Member D-SQUAD, and has been with NVCC since 2009.
